Follow the steps below to assemble your Bed365 bed, divan base, ottoman storage bed, bed frame and mattress correctly.
How To Assemble Your Ottoman Storage Bed
Now it’s time to assemble your ottoman storage bed. In this guide, we explain the basic setup process and important checks before use.
Step 1
Clip in or screw in your castors or chrome lock-in feet as supplied. Make sure each leg is securely locked in place before moving ahead.
Step 2
Lift up the foot end and access the inside storage section. Remove any loose packaging or fittings from inside the base.
Step 3
Push the small sliding clips onto the storage base bar to secure the ottoman mechanism correctly.
How To Assemble Your Bed Frame With Optional Gas Lift
Assemble the bed frame carefully and check all fittings before attaching the gas lift mechanism.
Step 1
Assemble the side frame first. Position the headboard, side rails and footboard correctly, then connect the frame using the supplied fittings.
Do not fully tighten all bolts until the frame has been aligned correctly. Once everything is square, tighten the bolts securely.
Step 2
Open the metal frame and central support bar. Secure the frame sections using the bolts provided. Make sure the support bars are placed evenly.
Step 3
Fit the gas lift pistons to the correct brackets on both sides. Always make sure the piston is attached firmly before testing.
Step 4
Place the mattress on the frame and check that the lifting mechanism moves smoothly. The mattress weight helps the gas lift operate correctly.
How To Assemble Your Bed Frame With Blackboard
Assemble the bed frame and attach the blackboard/headboard section according to the supplied parts.
Step 1
Unpack all parts and place them safely on the floor.
Step 2
Click the side rails and base sections into position. Tighten the fittings gently.
Step 3
Attach the headboard or blackboard panel, making sure it is level and secure before final tightening.
Step 4
If your bed frame includes support feet, align them properly and tighten them. Make sure the frame is stable before placing the mattress on top.
How To Assemble Your Divan Base Bed
Divan bases are usually supplied in sections. Follow these steps to connect the base securely before placing the mattress on top.
Step 1
Locate the connectors or linking bars underneath the base. Position both sections next to each other and align them correctly.
Step 2
Fit the chrome legs or castors into the base. Make sure each leg is fixed securely before turning the base upright.
Step 3
Secure the base sections together using the supplied fittings. Check that both sections are level and stable.
How To Set Up Your Mattress
Please note: your mattress is delivered by a member of our delivery team and will be carried safely into your property where possible.
Lift the mattress carefully and place it directly onto your bed base or bed frame.
Allow the mattress to settle before use. Some mattresses may need time to expand fully after delivery.
We recommend rotating your mattress regularly where suitable. Do not bend or fold the mattress, as this may damage the springs or internal structure.
If You Receive A Roll Packed Mattress
Carefully unpack the mattress and place it on the bed frame or base. Remove the outer packaging and allow the mattress to expand naturally.
Do not use sharp tools directly on the mattress packaging as this may damage the fabric.
Roll packed mattresses may take time to regain their full shape. We recommend allowing suitable time before sleeping on the mattress.
